Spring is in the air! Which means new nail polish, of course.

I have a hard time getting nail polish to stay on.  It chips and peels within hours sometimes. Recently I’ve found a new line that I absolutely love. It’s Miracle Gel from Sally Hansen. The polish is rich and thick and no UVA light is needed for curing. The colors are fabulous too.

I originally bought Pretty Piggy, the darker pink on the right. The color was wonderful in the bottle but didn’t work well with my fair skin. The lighter Pinky Promise is a much better shade.

Nails & Polish

The polish has a base coat blended in, so no need for that extra step. The top coat is sold separately. The brush is nicely shaped and holds a good amount of polish, sometimes allowing coverage for a couple of nails. With the lighter pink I did need to do a few coats to get full coverage of the color.

They’re priced around $9.99 per bottle and can be found in almost any drugstore in your area.
